On 10/7/18 I got a call from a hospital asking if they could use prints of my paintings to brighten their walls. This humbled me. —Dorothea Sandra (Instead of giving them a print, I decided to donate an original painting. I felt seeing “actual paint” would make the viewing experience more beneficial and personal. The painting was delivered in December to the Mid-Michigan Medical Center/Hospital in Alpena. I think it’s going in the cancer wing.)
