It’s the 21st century, and I reflect the changes made in medicine and psychology through my art.
People tell me all the time how happy they feel when near my paintings. They tell me these uniquely styled works of art give off real positive vibes.
Actually, having this kind of impact on others doesn’t just happen.
When creating these florals, my goal is never to reproduce a scene from nature but to use images to capture “the essences” of human emotions. I combine Evidence-based Design knowledge from actual scientific studies of health and design with artistic skill and then create art to make others feel happy, healthy, and healed.
Anyone can make this claim—and unfortunately many do—but I backed mine up with rigorous evidence-based design training and certification. Like many hospital designers, doctors, nurses, administrators, architects and more, I am EDAC certified.
Here’s a 51 second video featuring a painting I call Happy Abundance. Enjoy!
As with many of my floral paintings, Happy Abundance was strategically and deliberately designed. I used my evidence-based training and knowledge to create a mood of wealthy abundance and up-moving feelings of happiness. Moving all this happiness inside a painting doesn’t just happen. Layer-by-layer and technique-by-technique this was accomplished. This is the difference between creating a painting and creating art!
By looking more closely at this painting, you can see all the thousands of details needed to achieve the results. Colors are also crucial to help calm and empower people. Greens help focus and energize. Blues soothe and relax. Yellows and reds and magentas can excite, but when mixed with other colors, an artist can use them to create feelings of HAPPY ABUNDANCE.
