I also use short, sometimes broken, brushstrokes of mixed and unmixed colors, not blended smoothly or shaded. I capture “the impression” of a composition and give it my totally unique artistic interpretation.
Also, like many Expressionists, my goal is to create intense feelings in others. Many artists of Expressionism strive to shock or scare people. I want my buyers and collectors to carry home with them works of art that create intense feelings of positivity and joy.
