I fell in love with the Great Lakes when I was a teen, and so much of my art reflects my love affair with this amazing area. Even on the worst weather days, I still get so inspired. What I like to do is capture one of the lakes and the sky for the background and then add my own creative imaginings of bunches of beautiful flowers.
What I like most about You Are So Beautiful is it’s vibrant, gentle, whimsical, and elegant—all at the same time. My goal was not style or technique, but to create a mood-shifting, upbeat work of art to make people “feel” happy.
